Press Release: A Fresh Start

2018 Nissan Trailseeker Trail Run Buffelsdrift

Sunday, 06 May 2018

Every morning brings a new beginning. After the success of yesterday’s Nissan Trailseeker MTB event, we’re happy to announce the trail run event was a huge success altogether.

Around 600 adventure-seekers lined up to blast-off the NEW Nissan Trailseeker Trail Run Series. Athletes prepared themselves for the 21km trail run, which was first on the agenda. This route was hand-picked to challenge any runner, with some serious climbs, single tracks and hard-core routes.

Next up, was the 10km, 5km and newly introduced 3km pram jam race. Routes were designed to include little to no overlapping, which ensured a blissful day out for the rookie runner or fierce trail seeker.

Nissan support vehicles safeguarded runners throughout the day and was spotted all over the route. After the last runner finished, spectators and athletes enjoyed the great outdoors along with key sponsors.

“The routes were quite relaxed, and it was a fast route to run. I will definitely return” Daniella (5-kilometre runner)
